If you are like me you know that you need to stay active. BUT who has time to walk? I always start off strong. I walk consistently for a few weeks and then life happens. There never seems to be time to walk. Then my walking slowly stops. I go from walking 5 days a week, to 3 days, and then 1 day a week. Then instead of Walking I end up saying “I don’t have time. I will walk next week”. I know you were expecting me to say tomorrow but I am more of a next week person.
This same cycle that happens every year is what caused me to design the Time To Walk clock. Now when I sit in my office I look on the wall to see the time and I am reminded that it is time to walk now.
I placed the clock in my office because it is so easy to get distracted by my to do list, Facebook, email, Twitter, answering questions on forums, and the list goes on. I have found that I have been more consistent with walking since I put the Time To Walk clock on the wall in my office.
